Brandon Lee

Technical Associate I in the MIT Department of Biological Engineering

Brandon's focus remains in preclinical modeling of immune responses to Lyme disease. His research has shown a unique skin phenotype on the tails of infected mice that appear to be atopic dermatitis, a chronic skin condition common across the world. He earned his master's in Bioethics & Medical Humanities, and bachelor's in Cognitive Science, both at CWRU. Previously, Brandon has researched CAR NK immunotherapy with David Wald at CWRU and Lyme disease with Irv Weissman at Stanford. In addition to his ethical, social, and research experiences in preparation for a career in healthcare, Brandon has deep interests in service as a part of Cambridge Solutions at Work, Evidence Foundation, Boston Symphony, the Climate Reality Project, and is a "couch to marathon" runner after 6 months. In his free time, Brandon can be found sprinting around Boston with Midnight Runners, listening to all the music, and searching for his next bakery.
