Qingying Feng

Technical Associate I in the MIT Department of Biological Engineering

Qingying investigates the murine immune response to Borrelia burgdorferi through bioluminescent imaging, ultrasound, and serology. In addition, she applies her computational knowledge to analyze data collected in the lab through high quality pipelines in vitro and in vivo. Furthermore, Qingying has previously studied the dynamics of antibiotic resistance genes in human gut microbiome under different environments during her Master's Degree program in Conservation Medicine with Dr. Marieke Rosenbaum at The Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences at UC Davis. Additionally, she had worked as a zookeeper for Asian primates, which helped train her to observe and assess changes in animal models efficiently. Outside of the lab, Qingying likes to do hip hop dance freestyle, choreography, painting, clay making, as well as other creative projects.
